1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to ClipRecipe ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of cliprecipe.com and our recipe extraction service (collectively, the "Service"). By using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Service Description

ClipRecipe is a platform that uses artificial intelligence to extract recipes from video content. Users can submit links to recipe videos from supported platforms (YouTube, TikTok or Instagram), and our Service will process these videos to extract recipe information in a predefined format.

2.1 Supported Platforms

The Service currently supports recipe video extraction from:

• YouTube
• TikTok
• Instagram

2.2 Usage Limitations

Non-registered users are subject to daily rate limits based on IP address. For unlimited access and additional features, users must create an account.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You can create an account using:

• Google Authentication
• Email and password

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Payments and Subscriptions

4.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and authorize us to charge your chosen payment method.

4.2 Refunds

Refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We do not guarantee refunds for services already rendered.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Rights

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by ClipRecipe and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 User Content

By submitting video links to our Service, you represent that you have the right to use these videos and that such use does not violate any third-party rights.

5.3 Recipe Rights

The extracted recipes are provided for personal use only. You may not republish, distribute, or commercially exploit the extracted recipes without proper attribution to the original content creators.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent rate limiting or other usage restrictions
• Submit videos that you don't have the right to use
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service to extract non-recipe content
• Scrape or attempt to scrape the Service

7. Third-Party Content

Our Service processes videos from third-party platforms. We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy of the original recipe content
• The availability of third-party videos
• Changes to third-party platform APIs or terms of service
• Content removed from third-party platforms

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy of recipe extraction
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• The preservation of saved recipes
• Compatibility with all third-party videos

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ClipRecipe be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any errors or omissions in recipe extraction

10. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason
• Delete accounts that remain inactive for extended periods
• Remove any content from the Service at our discretion

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
