    Sift together all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

    Add egg, cooking oil, fresh whole milk, and vanilla extract to the sifted ingredients and mix until you get a thick mixture.

    In a separate bowl, mix hot water and instant coffee powder.

    Add coffee mixture to the batter and whisk until combined.

    Pour batter into a greased square pan.
