Directions

    Mix together yeast and water.

    Melt butter in a saucepan.

    Add melted butter to the yeast mixture once it's foamy.

    Add oil, sugar, eggs, salt, vanilla, cinnamon, and evaporated milk to the mixture.

    Add flour and knead until the dough is sticky.

    Let the dough rise for two hours.

    Make the topping by mixing softened butter, sugar, and flour.

    Add food coloring to the topping to make two different colors.

    Divide the dough into 100g balls.

    Place the dough balls on a baking sheet.

    Scoop out a tablespoon of topping and flatten it using your hands.

    Press the flattened topping onto the dough balls.

    You can also smash two colors together.

    To make the seashell effect, take a knife and score the tops of the dough.

    Let it rise for 30 minutes until it's puffy.

  • 0.5 cup room temp butter
  • 0.7 cup sugar
  • 1 cup AP flour
  • 2 food coloring
