    If your dosa turns out lumpy, your pan is too hot; cool it down by sprinkling some water

    Spread the batter gently from the center

    Don't press too hard

    Once it starts to cook, spread some oil or ghee around the dosa

    If you're making thin dosas, you don't have to flip them, but if you're making thicker ones, make sure you flip them after 30 seconds

    Once you see golden brown spots, the dosa is cooked
