Directions

    In a stand mixer bowl, combine sourdough discard, water, sugar, and yeast.

    Add flour and mix.

    Add eggs and mix.

    Add rosemary, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and olive oil.

    Knead until soft and smooth but not sticky.

    Let the dough rise.

    Make the filling by combining butter, herbs, garlic, and salt.

    Divide the risen dough into 12 equal parts using a scale.

    Press each part into an oval shape and spread the butter mixture on top.

    Fold each piece in half like a taco and place folded side down in a greased bread pan.

    Stack the folded dough pieces on top of each other in the bread pan.

    Cover and let rise for 30-45 minutes.

    Bake until golden brown.

    Brush with remaining butter mixture and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
