Directions

    Heat sesame oil in a pot. Add doubanjiang, minced garlic and green onions. Stir-fry until fragrant.

    Add soy sauce and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.

    In a separate bowl, whisk together ginger paste and broth mixture.

    Return the mixture to the pot and bring back to a boil.

    Add frozen dumplings and cook until they float to the top.

    Add bok choy and cook until wilted.

    Ladle soup into bowls, top with chili oil, sesame seeds, fried onions and green onions.
