Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Place 1/2 stick of butter in a 9x13 inch pan and place it in the oven to melt.

    In a bowl, mix 1.5 cups of self rising cornmeal mix, 1 cup of sour cream, 1 can of cream style corn, 1-2 diced jalapeño peppers (or 1 diced bell pepper), and 2 eggs.

    Mix all ingredients until well combined.

    Pour the batter into the buttered pan.

  6. 6.

    Top with your favorite chili.

    Add more shredded cheddar cheese on top.

    Bake for about 45 minutes.
