    In a bowl, add six clean and trimmed chicken thighs and season it with a blend of salt, onion powder, black pepper, and ground ginger.

    Sear chicken thighs for four minutes aside to give a nice char.

    Chop up the seared chicken thighs.

    Mince a clove of elephant garlic.

    Peel and mince some fresh ginger.

    Add garlic and ginger to a pan.

    Add soy sauce, bourbon, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar to the pan.

    Add the chopped chicken to the pan and cook for a couple of minutes.

  • 0.5 C bourbon
  • 0.2 C hoisin sauce
  • 0.2 C brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 clove elephant garlic
  • 1 fresh ginger
  • sesame seeds
  • green onions
