Directions

    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Cut off both ends of the onions.

    Peel the onions.

    Hollow out the core of the onions.

    Fill the hollowed-out center of each onion with butter.

    Melt butter in a bowl in the microwave for the sauce.

    Season the melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, lemon pepper, oregano leaves, Old Bay seasoning, minced garlic, and black pepper.

    Stir the sauce well.

    Place each onion on a small sheet of tin foil on a baking sheet.

    Pour the prepared sauce over each onion.

    Sprinkle additional seasonings (garlic powder, black pepper) on top of the onions.

    Carefully fold the tin foil around each onion, making sure to seal it completely without puncturing the foil.

    Place the foil-wrapped onions into the preheated oven.

    Cook for 90 minutes.

    Once cooked, open the foil and finish with extra sauce.
