Directions

    In a small saucepan, mix together 1/3 cup pumpkin puree, 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, and 1/2 cup water.

    Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and let it simmer for a few minutes until thickened.

    Strain the mixture to remove the pumpkin puree fiber, obtaining only the pumpkin flavored syrup.

    In a separate saucepan, add 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk on low heat.

    Add the strained pumpkin syrup to the sweetened condensed milk and mix thoroughly while warm.

    Add 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon of pumpkin pie extract.

    Mix well and store in a jar or bottle. It will keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.
