Directions

    Slice the sirloin steak thinly against the grain.

    Place the sliced steak in a bowl, add an egg, 3-4 tbsp of cornflour, and stir well to coat.

    Shake off excess flour and place the steak in an air fryer at 210c for 10 minutes, shaking halfway through.

    Stir-fry sliced onion, green pepper, and garlic paste for a couple of minutes.

    Add tomato ketchup, sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, and rice wine vinegar to the pan.

    Cook for a couple of minutes until reduced and sticky, add sugar to taste.

    Add the crispy beef to the pan and toss well to glaze.

    Scatter sliced fresh chillies on top.

  • 50 ml sweet chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 30 g sugar
  • 2 fresh chillies
