Directions

    Finely mince garlic and chop broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

    Thinly slice flank steak or skirt steak.

    Marinate the beef with cornstarch, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, soy sauce, chicken bouillon, pepper, and baking soda. Mix well and set aside.

    In a bowl, combine chicken or beef broth, Shaoxing wine, oyster sauce, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and sugar. Mix well and set aside.

    Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 30 seconds and soak in an ice bath. Strain dry in a colander.

    Add some oil to your wok, add the minced garlic and sauté for 10 seconds.

    Add the marinated beef and let it sear about 2-3 minutes on each side.

  • 1.5 cup low sodium chicken/beef broth or water
  • 2 tbsp shaoxing wine
  • 1 tsp sugar
