    Prepare the jars.

    Chop one whole sweet onion.

    Chop the dill, stems and all.

    Place onion and dill in jars.

    Slice pickling cucumbers and mini cucumbers.

    Add the sliced cucumbers into jars.

    Combine apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and spices in a saucepan.

    Bring the pickling liquid to a low boil.

  9. 9.

    Pour pickling liquid over cucumbers and onions in jars.

    Add a little more water and vinegar to cover everything.

    Put lids on and refrigerate for at least 24 hours.

  • 2 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons salt
