Directions

    Season the chicken with soy sauce, shaoxing wine, oil, salt, white pepper, sugar, five spice, garlic powder, chicken bouillon, and fresh garlic.

    Mix in an egg and let it marinate at least 30 minutes.

    For the seasoning, combine salt, white pepper, sugar, five spice and paprika.

    Mix and set aside.

    Dredge the chicken in sweet potato starch until coated.

    Place in a greased air fryer, then brush with oil.

    Air fry for 16 minutes at 360°F or until the chicken is crispy and golden brown.
