Directions

    Chop basil leaves.

    Grate parmesan cheese.

    Peel and separate garlic cloves.

    Measure out olive oil.

    Toast the pine nuts in a pan.

    Prepare the pesto using a mortar and pestle by mashing together the basil, pine nuts, parmesan and salt.

    Chop green beans.

    Peel and dice the potato.

  9. 9.

    Boil pasta with green beans and potatoes.

  10. 10.

    Drain the pasta and vegetables.

    Mix the pesto with the drained pasta and vegetables.

    Serve.
