Directions

    Cut the ribeye steak in half.

    Rub the steaks down with olive oil.

    Add pepper and salt to the steaks.

    Put olive oil in the frying pan and make sure it is piping hot.

    Sear steaks in hot olive oil for a few minutes on each side.

    Add one half of a clove of garlic to each steak.

    Add half a stick of butter to the pan.

    Baste steaks with the garlic butter mixture.
