    Place the sausage on a smoker preheated to 225°F (107°C).

    Let it cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 120°F (49°C).

    Apply your favorite barbecue sauce.

    Close the lid and let it cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 165-170°F (74-77°C)

    Remove from heat and slice into pieces.
