RITZ Mock Apple Pie
Directions
- 1Combine water, sugar and cream of tartar in saucepan; boil gently for 15 minutes. Add lemon juice and rind.
- 2Pour over cracker crust.
- 3Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes, reduce the heat to 375°F for another 20 minutes.

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons grated rind one lemon
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 pinch vanilla
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
