Crockpot Chicken & Dumplings
Directions
- 1Place 1 lb of boneless skinless chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
- 2Season with whatever you like, just be sure not to add too much salt.
- 3Add 1 can of cream of celery and 1 can of cream of chicken with herbs.
- 4Add in 2 cups of diced carrots and 1 cup of diced celery and 1 cup of diced onion.
- 5Give that a good mix.
- 6Pour in 2 cups of low sodium chicken broth.
- 7Cook on high for 3–4 hours or on low for 4–6 hours.
- 8Take the chicken out of the crockpot and shred it.
- 9Add the shredded chicken back into the crockpot.
- 10Take an 8 count can of homestyle biscuits and cut them into 9 pieces each.
- 11Add the biscuits to the crockpot, making sure they're covered by the liquid.
- 12Cook on high for at least 1 hour to 90 minutes, or until the biscuits are cooked through.
- 13Gently stir the biscuits and let it sit for at least 10 minutes to thicken up.
- 14Season to taste if needed.
- 15Serve hot and enjoy!

- 2 cups low sodium chicken broth
- 8 big biscuits homestyle biscuits
