Directions

    Dice an onion, green and red bell peppers, and mince a few cloves of garlic.

    Heat olive oil in a dutch oven, add the veggies, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about five minutes.

    Remove the veggies from the pot (optional).

    Add in the ground turkey and Italian sausage.

  5. 5.

    Add the veggies back in once the meat is cooked.

    Season with salt, italian seasoning.

    Pour in diced tomatoes and pasta sauce.

    Season with garlic powder, italian seasoning, and pepper.

    Add in sugar and let simmer for about 15 minutes.

    Mix together the ricotta cheese, chopped parsley, parmesan, cream cheese, and an egg.

    In a baking dish, add a thin layer of sauce, followed by the noodles, then the ricotta mixture, and top this with mozzarella cheese.

    Repeat these layers as many times as you can.

    Top the last layer of sauce with parmesan and mozzarella cheese.

    Bake in a 350°F oven for 45 minutes.
