Directions

    Open and drain a can of chickpeas. Save the aquafaba.

    Toss the chickpeas into a bowl with a little bit of vanilla extract, a teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and two tablespoons of maple syrup. Mix well.

    Add a pinch of salt.

    Toss the chickpeas onto a baking sheet and place them in an air fryer at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes.

    Take the chickpeas out of the air fryer, toss them back into the bowl, and mix them up.

    Add another tablespoon of sugar.

    Toss the chickpeas back into the air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

    Give them one last sprinkle of sugar while they are still sticky.
