Brown Butter Brownies
Directions
- 1Cook one stick of butter over low heat until it turns a golden brown color.
- 2Add the brown butter to a bowl with ¾ cup of cocoa and mix well. This helps bloom the cocoa for better flavor.
- 3In a separate bowl, combine 3 eggs with 1 ¾ cups of light brown sugar and whisk until the mixture is super fluffy and no sugar granules are felt.
- 4Add the chocolate mixture to the egg and sugar mixture and mix until combined.
- 5Add ¾ cup of flour, some vanilla, and a pinch of salt to the mixture. Mix until everything is combined.
- 6Add ½ cup of chocolate chips or chopped chocolate to the mixture.
- 7Pour the brownie batter into a baking pan and bake in a 350°F oven for 20-25 minutes until the brownies look set.
