Directions

    Boil the eggs for 11-13 minutes until the yolks are set.

    Prepare an ice bath by mixing water and ice in a bowl.

    Blanch the eggs immediately after boiling to stop the cooking process.

    Peel the boiled eggs and cut them in half.

    Carefully scoop out the egg yolks.

    Mash the egg yolks and mix them with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika and Old Bay.

    Put the mixture into a piping bag.

    Prepare three containers for breading: flour, egg wash with Cholula, and breadcrumbs.

    Bread the egg halves by coating them in flour, then the egg wash, and finally breadcrumbs.

    Fry the breaded egg halves in a frying pan with oil at 350 degrees for 2-3 minutes per side.

    Flip the egg halves during frying to prevent sogginess.

    Let the fried eggs cool before filling them with the yolk mixture.

  • 1 splash Cholula hot sauce
  • 1 handful Chives
  • 1 handful Bacon bits
  • 1 pan frying oil
