    Cut beef into bite-sized pieces and marinate with Shaoxing wine, soy sauce, cornstarch, salt, and a little bit of oil.

    Chop bell peppers and onions into petals and finely mince ginger and garlic.

    Combine beef stock, light and dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, ketchup, sugar, MSG, black pepper, Sichuan peppercorn powder, white pepper, and cornstarch for the sauce.

    In a wok with a little oil, sear the beef on all sides for a few minutes and set aside.

    Sauté garlic, ginger, and vegetables until slightly translucent.

    Add back the beef and pour the sauce. Once thickened, finish with sesame oil.

  • 0.5 tsp Sichuan peppercorn powder
  • 0.5 tsp white pepper
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 4 tbsp neutral oil
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 0.5 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
