    In a pot, combine lentils, kidney beans, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer.

    Chop red onion and jalapeno pepper.

    In a pan, melt butter and add cumin seeds, coriander, and paprika.

    Add chopped onions and jalapenos to the pan and sauté.

    Add ginger, tomato paste, and garam masala. Stir well and cook until fragrant.

    Add the cooked lentils and kidney beans to the pan. Mix well.

    Simmer the mixture for a few hours until the lentils and beans are tender.

    Stir in cream and kasuri methi.
