Directions

    Add water to a pot.

    Pour pinto beans into a bowl and clean them.

    Once the water starts to boil, add a whole head of garlic cloves and a big piece of onion.

    Rinse the beans and remove any that float.

    Add the beans to the boiling water and add salt.

    Cook the beans on low for an hour and a half, covered.

    Remove the garlic and onion after an hour and a half.

    Cook bacon until crispy.

    Remove the bacon and cook weenies.

    Cook chorizo.

    After cooking the chorizo, add the diced onions and sauté for a few minutes.

    Add the serrano chilis and tomatoes.

    Mix well, then add the cooked weenies and bacon.

    Add cilantro, cumin, chicken bouillon, and garlic powder.

    Mix everything together.

    Add the chorizo mixture to the beans.
