Directions

    In a bowl, add flour, yeast and salt.

    Add warm water and mix until you have a wet, sticky dough.

    Cover the bowl with a tea towel and leave to rise for 1 hour.

    Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently form a ball. Do not knead.

  5. 5.

    Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and shape them into balls.

    Place the dough balls on parchment paper and let them rest for 15 minutes.

  7. 7.

    Preheat oven to 230°C (450°F). Place a cast iron pot or oven-proof pan in the oven to heat for 10 minutes.

    Carefully remove the hot pot from the oven and place the dough balls inside.

  9. 9.

    Cover the pot and bake for 30 minutes.

  10. 10.

    Remove the lid and bake for another 10 minutes.

    Remove from oven and let cool before serving.
