    Score the top of a block of cream cheese and season generously with barbecue rub.

    Smoke the cream cheese at 250°F for about an hour and a half.

    Cook bacon in a cast iron skillet until crispy; set aside.

    Add sliced onions to the bacon fat and cook until softened.

  5. 5.

    Add the cooked bacon back to the skillet with brown sugar, half of the juice from a jar of Wickles wicked Jalapeno slices, a third of the sliced jalapeños and maple syrup.

    Simmer the mixture, stirring frequently, until it reduces to a jam-like consistency.

    Top the smoked cream cheese with the bacon jam.
