Directions

    Dice half a shallot, mince fresh rosemary and thyme, and chop some garlic and parsley.

    Cut a New York strip into cubes.

    Season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

    Sear on high heat on all sides until crusty.

    Set steak aside, let the skillet cool down, and melt six tablespoons of butter.

    Sauté shallots, rosemary, and thyme; add garlic last to prevent burning.

    Return steak to the skillet, mix with some fresh parsley.

    Plate with jasmine rice and green beans.
