Directions

    Cut the croissants into thirds and slice them open.

    In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream (or milk or half and half), garlic powder, salt, pepper, rosemary and thyme.

    Dunk the croissants into the egg mixture, shaking off any excess liquid.

    Arrange the croissants in a 13x9 baking dish.

    Pour the remaining egg mixture over the croissants.

    Fold slices of ham in half four times to create rose shapes, and arrange them on top of the croissants.

    Add slices of Swiss cheese between the ham roses.

    Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top.

    In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, honey, and rosemary and thyme.

    Bake at 350°F until the cheese melts (about 10-12 minutes).

    Brush the honey-butter mixture over the top.

  • 6 croissants
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream or half and half
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp rosemary
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 1 meat of choice (prosciutto, ham or turkey)
  • 1 cheese of choice (Mozzarella or Swiss)
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 0.5 honey
  • 0.5 tbsp fresh herbs
