Take 4-5 medium-sized potatoes and cut them into big slices.

Take some cold water in a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of salt and 1-1.5 tablespoons of sugar.

Mix it well and add potatoes, leave it for some time.

Put it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.

After taking it out of the freezer, rinse it with clean water and make it dry using a kitchen paper or a towel.

Fry them in hot oil for 90-100 seconds, until lightly golden brown.

Take them out and put on a kitchen paper.

Keep them in the freezer for 20-25 minutes.

Fry them again until they get a nice golden brown color, like McDonald's French Fries.

Add some extra salt and serve hot.
