Directions

  1. 1.

    Cut up chicken and season with seasoning, salt, and pepper.

    In a bowl, mix 2 cups of water, 1 cup of soy sauce, 1 cup of packed brown sugar, 1/2 cup of apple juice, 1 tbsp of ketchup, 1 tbsp of minced garlic, 2 tsp of ground ginger, red pepper flakes, and 1 tbsp of cornstarch.

    Set aside the sauce and add oil to the pan, then sauté your chicken.

    Add the sauce to the pan and bring to a boil, then simmer until half the liquid is gone.

    Add the cooked chicken to the pan and mix.

    For the fried rice, add oil to the pan and saute carrots, garlic and then add day old rice.

    Add beaten eggs to the rice.

    Add soy sauce and mix well.

    Serve the bourbon chicken over the fried rice.

  • 5 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 bottle seasoning
  • 1 bottle sea salt
  • 2 cups water

  • 1 tbsp garlic
  • 1 cup day old jasmine rice
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
