Directions

    Wash cucumbers, slice off the ends. Place between wooden chopsticks and slice at an angle all the way down. Flip and repeat.

    Put cucumber slices in a bowl, sprinkle with salt, set aside for 5 minutes. Rinse and drain well.

    In another bowl, mix black vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sweetener, minced garlic, and chilli oil.

    Add cucumbers to the sauce, mix well to coat.

    Transfer to a plate, spoon sauce on top, garnish with sesame seeds and chilli oil.

  • 3 medium cucumbers
  • 1 sea salt
  • 1.5 tbsp black vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp sugar or sweetener of choice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 to taste chilli oil
  • 1 pinch sesame seeds
