    Measure out 2 1/4 cups or 270 grams of all-purpose flour.

    Microwave the flour in 20 second intervals, stirring in between, until it reaches 165 Fahrenheit.

    Alternatively, spread the flour on a baking sheet and bake at 350 for about 12 minutes or until 165 Fahrenheit.

    Melt 1 cup or 226 grams of unsalted butter.

    Add 50 grams or 1/4 cup of granulated sugar to the melted butter.

  6. 6.

    Mix the butter and sugar with a hand mixer or stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment.

    Add 275 grams or 1 1/4 cups of light brown sugar.

    Mix on medium speed until light and fluffy.

    Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.

    Add 2 tablespoons of milk.

    Mix until nicely incorporated.

    Add the cooled flour and mix on low until almost combined.

    Add 2 cups of mini chocolate chips and fold in until evenly distributed.

    Scoop out individual portions of cookie dough and place them onto a baking sheet.

    Chill in the refrigerator or freezer.
