Directions

    Season the chuck roast on all sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

    Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sear chuck roast on all sides.

    Place seared chuck roast in a crock pot.

    Pour 1 1/2 cups of beef broth over the chuck roast.

    Add sliced onions, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, beer, and Au Jus packet to a skillet, stir, and let it simmer.

    Pour the onion and gravy mixture over chuck roast in the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

    Shred the meat and discard any extra fat.

    Build sandwiches with the meat and provolone cheese.

    Put sandwiches in the air fryer for a couple of minutes to melt the cheese.
