Directions

  1. 1.

    Cook 2 pounds of ground beef.

    Add in 1 cup of finely diced onion.

    Add 2 tablespoons of garlic.

    Add onion powder, garlic powder and 1 envelope of Sazon Goya with tomato.

    Add a little bit of black pepper.

  6. 6.

    Add 1 tablespoon of tomato bouillon.

    Add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and 0.75 cup of water.

    Add a dash of cumin.

    Cook for about 10 minutes.

    Sauté corn tortillas for about 10-12 seconds on each side.

    Start the sauce. Add 4 tablespoons of oil, 4 tablespoons of flour, 2 tablespoons of chili powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder and 1 tablespoon of garlic powder in a pan.

    Add 1 teaspoon of cumin and 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika.

    Add a sprinkle of black pepper.

    Cook for 30-45 seconds.

    Add 1 can of beef broth, and add salt if needed.

    Adjust the consistency of the sauce to your liking by adding more beef broth.

    Add cayenne pepper for extra spice.

    Layer sauce, tortillas, meat, and cheese in a baking dish.

    Add extra sauce and cheese on top.

    Bake at 350 degrees until cheese melts.

    Serve with rice, sour cream, avocado, and diced onion.
